Hi! I’m just an ordinary girl in my 20s who likes Japanese dramas very much. 🙂
Timezone: GMT +8
I started subbing in 2016 so I’m still a newbie in the world of translation and subbing. Although I passed my JLPT N1 back in 2014, there are many words that I still don’t know. Heck, I’m just good at passing exams but when it comes to real-life application, I still have a long way to go.
I’m definitely learning something new every time I translate each episode, which makes the whole process very exciting and educational at the same time. Yes, I occasionally write a long list of episodic notes. Sorry for being so long-winded but the Japanese language is simply interesting and I actually wrote those so that I can refer to them in the future.
Having said all that, please feel free to tell me if I made any translation errors or if there are better ways to word my translations! That will be very helpful. 🙂
Notes on my subtitles:
– My subtitles will be uploaded to D-Addicts when they are ready. Please look forward to them.
– I use British spelling.
– Other than names, food and places, I try not to leave romaji in my subtitles and will find a similar English equivalent. My objective is to make my subtitles readable even for people who know next to nothing about Japanese culture.
